I am a graduate of the Heartpaths DFW training program in spiritual leadership and spiritual direction in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, I have a bachelors degree in philosophy and religion from Mount Holyoke College, and a masters degree in philosophy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I recently retired
after a 25-year career in non-profit management, followed by a 10-year career helping run a small family business. I am actively engaged in spiritual direction as a directee and working to discern God’s call and
direction for the next phase of my life. I have a passion for learning more about, and engaging in, contemplative spirituality in the African-American community. I am currently enjoying the works of Howard Thurman, particularly in areas of meditation and social justice. I welcome opportunities to

Ed Zagalo is a retired Financial Analyst. He has completed a three-year Spiritual Formation and Direction program at the Renewing Life Center in Las Vegas, NV and is a certified Spiritual Director. He also earned a Master’s degree in Christian Spiritual Formation and Leadership from
Friends University, a private nondenominational Christian university in Wichita, Kansas. He has been married for 40 years and has one child, a 25-year-old young man with Down Syndrome. His passion is working with others as they either pursue God and/or are going through a particular struggle or hard time. He is available to provide Spiritual Direction and/or work with others as they develop the character of Christ via zoom or in person at the Renewing Life Center.
